Procedure

  1. Start the WebSphere Commerce Server.

  2. Open the WAS Administrative Console.

  3. Enable the ActivitySession service.

    Servers | Server Types | WebSphere Application Servers | server1 | Container Settings | Business Process Services | ActivitySession service | Enable service at server startup | OK

  4. Determine the maximum number of connections allowed for the Adapter for WebSphere MQ.

  5. Create a WebSphere MQ messaging provider queue connection factory.

  6. Create WebSphere MQ messaging provider queue destinations.

  7. Exit the WAS Administrative Console.

  8. Restart server1.

  9. Update the work manager thread pool size and the total number of database connections to accommodate the increased maximum number of listener threads.
