Migrate dependent EJB projects

If you have customized ready to use EJBs in a previous WebSphere Commerce release, you cannot import them into the new workspace as they might be modified in the new WebSphere Commerce version. You must customize the new version of the EJBs again.

Procedure

1. Locate the corresponding IBM projects in WebSphere Commerce Developer v7.0.

2. Import these projects into the workspace. See Modify existing EJB modules.

3. Apply any customization on top of the EJBs if necessary.

4. Execute optimistic locking by completing the steps:

   1. Migrate EJB projects to use optimistic locking
      

   2. Validate that CMP entity beans can use optimistic locking
