Troubleshoot: Warnings issued when removing an instance with the config_ant.bat command
Warnings display when you remove an instance in a WebSphere Commerce installation directory that contains spaces.
Problem
These warnings are issued when removing an instance using the following command:
config_ant.bat -DinstanceName=instance RemoveInstance
Several warnings are logged in the:
WC_INSTALL/instances/instance/logs/creatInstanceANT.log..
For example, the warnings are similar to the following message:
WC_INSTALL\config\deployment\xml\filename.xml could not be found.
These warnings can also be issued if you use these commands to remove the instance:
config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance RemoveCommerceServer config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance RemoveJaasAuthData config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance RemoveDataSourceV5 config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance RemoveJDBCProvider config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance RemoveVirtualHosts config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance UninstallEAR config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance RegeneratePlugin config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance UndoWebServerConfig config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance RemoveHTTPService config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance UnregisterInstance config_ant.bat -DinstanceName= instance RemoveInstanceDir
If you are running these commands, the warning messages appear in the terminal window and are not logged in a log file.
