Troubleshoot: The updatedb script fails during the application of the fix pack
The updatedb script might fail; a manual update of the database can then be attempted.
Problem
The updatedb process fails during the fix pack update.
Solution
Complete these steps:
- Review the log files in the following locations:
- WCDE_INSTALL/logs/trace.txt
- WCDE_INSTALL/logs/messages.txt
Review these error messages with the database administrator to ensure there are no data errors.
- Navigate to the WCDE_INSTALL/bin directory.
- Manually update the database.
