Troubleshoot: Unable to reinstall the fix pack due to the file setenv.bak
If you uninstall WebSphere Commerce fix pack 1 and attempt to reinstall the fix pack, an error may occur during the reinstallation.
Problem
During WebSphere Commerce fix pack 1 reinstallation, the update fails because the file WC_INSTALL\bin\setenv.bak already exists and therefore cannot be created.
Solution
- Navigate to the WC_INSTALL\bin directory and delete the setenv.bak file.
- Reinstall WebSphere Commerce fix pack 1.
