Activating or deactivating an experiment

You can deactivate experiments which allows more control over when they display to customers. This enables you to create experiments in advance of when they are needed, and keep them inactive until you want them to run. You can then activate them as necessary.

Procedure

1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
   

2. Click Marketing > Experiments. A list of the currently defined experiments displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.

3. Select the check box to the left of the experiment and click Activate or Deactivate. The experiment will be activated or deactivated on the production server.
