Troubleshoot: Data load business object lock error
When you load data into an authoring server, you might encounter a business object lock.
Problem
You might get the following error when you load data into an authoring server:
The business object could not be modified because it is locked by previous changes made in a workspace. The locked business object: {0}
This error occurs because the object you are trying to modify is locked by another task.
Solution
- Wait for the business object to be unlocked by the other task.
- Override the business object lock. Refer to Workspace locking scenario using the Data load utility to understand why this error occurs and how to override the object lock.
