Approving or rejecting a task group (Workspace Manager)

Before a task group can be approved or rejected, all of the tasks in the task group must be completed.

Task Group Approvers should follow the instructions in Approving a workspace task group to approve a task group in WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

To approve or reject a task group:

  1. Open the Workspace Administration Tool.

  2. Select Workspaces > Manage workspaces.

  3. On the Workspaces page, select the task group which you want to approve.

  4. Ensure that all of the tasks in the task group are complete.

  5. Click Approve or Reject.

If you approve a task group, the data in the task group is committed to the production-ready data, either immediately or at a scheduled time set earlier. If the task group is marked as quick publish, the task group data is also published to the production server.

If you reject a task group and e-mail notification is enabled, the tasks within the task group return to Active state and e-mail notifications are sent to the Workspace Content Contributors.
