Define tax category display name

After you define your tax categories, define the name for each category that will display to your customers. If your store is displayed in more than one language, you may need to define a display name for each tax category in each language. For example, in English a tax category may have one name, while in another language, the same tax may have another name.

To define a tax category display name:

1. Open WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

2. From either the Store or Hub menu, select Change Tax.
   The Tax notebook opens.

3. From the left navigation frame, click Display Names.

4. From the Language drop-down list, select the language.

5. In the Display Name fields, type the name for the tax category that you want to display to the customers, in the language you selected in step 4.

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each language your store supports.

7. Click OK to save your settings and exit.

After you have defined the tax category display name, you are now ready to define tax rates. As outlined in Set up taxes, continue to step 6, Define tax rates.
