Create a promotion

To create a new promotion, either duplicate an existing promotion, or do the following:

1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

2. From the Marketing menu, click Promotions. The Promotions window opens, containing a list of the currently defined promotions.

3. Click New. The Promotions wizard displays.

4. Complete each page as required selecting the values appropriate for the promotion you want to create.

5. Click Finish to save the promotion. The promotion is displayed in the Promotions list, and set as inactive.

You must propagate your promotion data from the development server to the production WebSphere Commerce Server before any customer orders can make use of them. Contact your Site Administrator for assistance.
