Closing an expected inventory record

To close one or more expected inventory records:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  2. From the Merchandise menu, click Expected Inventory.

    From the Products menu, click Expected Inventory.
    The Expected Inventory list is displayed. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.

  3. Select the check boxes to the left of the expected inventory records that you want to close, and click Close.

  4. A message is displayed, prompting you to confirm that you want to close the expected inventory records. Click OK to close them.

  5. The Expected Inventory list refreshes, removing the closed expected inventory records.

Once you close an expected inventory record, you cannot re-open it. Be sure you have received all of the inventory associated with the expected inventory record before you close it.
