Responding to RFQ dynamic kit requests (Enterprise)

You can work with price adjustments for dynamic kits based on a percentage markdown, or a fixed (specific) change in the price. To respond to a buyer's requests to the dynamic kits, including kit pricing, for an RFQ:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. Initiate the RFQ response creation process and from the Percentage Pricing on Dynamic Kits or Fixed Pricing on Dynamic Kits page, select the check box for the dynamic kit you are working with and click Configuration Report. The RFQ Dynamic Kit Configuration Report page displays. It illustrates the breakdown of the products for a selected dynamic kit within an RFQ request.
  3. Click OK to return to the Percentage Pricing on Dynamic Kits or Fixed Pricing on Dynamic Kits page.
  4. With the check box for the dynamic kit you are working with still selected, click Respond or Change. The Respond to Percentage Pricing on Dynamic Kit or Respond to Fixed Pricing on Dynamic Kit page displays.
  5. Depending on how want type of dynamic kit information you want to respond to, do one of the following:
    • To counter offer the dynamic kit price based on a percentage markdown, on the type the Respond to Percentage Pricing on Dynamic Kit page, in the Price adjustment field, type the percentage you are willing to mark down for the price of the kit. This value must be a number, for example, "10" indicates a 10% markdown on the original price of the kit.
    • To counter offer the dynamic kit price, quantity, or unit of quantity, on the Respond to Fixed Pricing on Dynamic Kit page, do the following under the Response section of this page:
      • To indicate the quantity of the kit that you can supply to the buyer, type this in the Quantity field. This value must be a number, for example, "10". You may want to change the quantity if you are unable to provide the quantity requested for a kit.
      • To indicate the units you use for the kit, select this from the Units list. For example, if you want to specify the quantity in terms of a unit other than that specified by the buyer, such as by "meter" instead of by "foot", select the units from this list.
      • To counter offer the kit price you are willing to sell the kit, based on a fixed amount, type this in the Price field.
  6. Click OK to save the changes and return to the Percentage Pricing on Dynamic Kits or Fixed Pricing on Dynamic Kits page.
