Changing an existing personalized attribute (Enterprise)
To add a new attribute to the existing personalized attribute dictionary:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- From the Sales menu, select Personalized Attributes. The Personalized Attribute list displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
- Select the check box for the attribute that you want to change.
- Click Change. The Change Personalized Attribute form displays.
- Make the necessary changes to the Description Type or encryption parameters.
- Clicking OK displays a confirmation message.
- Click OK in the dialog box to return to the Personalized Attributes list.
Note: You cannot change the name of an existing attribute on the Change Personalized Attribute form. If you want to change the name of an existing attribute, the existing attribute must be deleted. Create a new attribute with the new name.
