Add a reseller price for a manufacturer's catalog entries (reseller) (Enterprise)

This task applies only when you are using the demand chain business model.

To add a reseller price for the manufacturer's catalog entries (products, SKUs, and prebuilt kits):

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. To add a reseller price to a manufacturer product:
    1. From the Merchandise menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
      From the Products menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
      The Catalog Entry Search page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
    2. Find the product you want to change.
    3. Select a field in the product row that you want to change, and from the Prices menu, click Set Prices.
    4. The Product Pricing page displays. Click Add Price Range.
    5. Define your price range specifications, as follows:
      • Using the drop-down list, select the currency from a list of the store's available currencies.
      • Add the product price range for volume pricing in the Range field, to specify a quantity of products for a certain price.
    6. Click OK. Under the Price column of the new price range row, type the price of the product.
    7. To save the new reseller product price, click OK.
  3. To add a reseller price to a manufacturer SKU:
    1. Select Merchandise > Find Catalog Entries.
      From the Products menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
      The Catalog Entry Search page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
    2. Find the product containing the SKU you want to change.
    3. Select a field in the product row, and from the Actions menu, click Show SKUs.
    4. Select a field in the SKU row that you want to change, and from the Prices menu, click Set Prices.
    5. The SKU Pricing page displays. Click Add Price Range.
    6. Define your price range specifications, as follows:
      • Using the drop-down list, select the currency from a list of the store's available currencies.
      • Add the SKU price range for volume pricing in the Range field, to specify a quantity of SKUs for a certain price.
    7. Click OK. Under the Price column of the new price range row, type the price of the SKU.
    8. To save the new reseller SKU price, click OK.
  4. To add a reseller price to a manufacturer prebuilt kit:
    1. From the Merchandise menu, click Find Bundles or Kits.
      Select Products > Find Bundles or Kits.
      The Bundle and Kit Search page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
    2. Find the prebuilt kit you want to change.
    3. Select the prebuilt kit to add the price and click Prices.
    4. The Pricing page displays. Click Add Price Range.
    5. Define your price range specifications, as follows:
      • Using the drop-down list, select the currency from a list of the store's available currencies.
      • Add the prebuilt kit price range for volume pricing in the Range field, to specify a quantity of products for a certain price.
    6. Click OK. Under the Price column of the new price range row, type the price of the kit.
    7. To save the new reseller price, click OK.

Note: If the changes to the catalog data do not display in the store, the Site Administrator may need to disable caching or remove the currently cached JSP pages.
