Deleting linked categories

You might want to delete a linked category if the category is no longer needed in the sales catalog. For example, you may want to delete the Holiday category if you no longer want to sell seasonal Holiday items in your sales catalog. When you delete a link, the category still exists. Only the link is deleted.

About this taskTo delete linked categories between catalogs:

  1. Open the Catalogs tool.

  2. From the explorer filter, select Sales Catalog.

  3. Right-click the category that you want to delete as a link; then click Delete, or select the category and click

    . The linked category is deleted from the sales catalog.

  4. Click Save and Close, or click Close.
