Start and stopping WebSphere Commerce Test Server within the WebSphere Commerce Developer
To test your code changes ensure the WebSphere Commerce Test Server is running.To start the WebSphere Commerce Test Server within the WebSphere Commerce development environment:
- Shut down any applications that are using ports 80, 443, 8000, 8002, and 8004, as these are required by the WebSphere Commerce Test Server. This includes any of the WebSphere Commerce Test Servers that may be running.
- Start the WebSphere Commerce Developer.
- In the Servers view, right-click WebSphere Commerce Test Server.
- Select Start or Stop from the pop-up menu.
If you want to start WebSphere Commerce in debug mode, select Debug from the pop-up menu.
Check the Console view to ensure that no errors occur as the WebSphere Commerce application server starts.
The WebSphere Commerce application
server is started successfully if there are no errors in the Console view and the following message appears in the Console view:Server server1 open for e-businessRelated tasks
