Objective
To allow a customer update their profile information.
Description
The customer can manage their own profile, typically by using the storefront pages. This includes updating all of the parameters that could have been created during the initial registration. As with registration, the accessbeans used during profile update are managed by the UserManageBean -- and include UserAccessBean, UserRegistryAccessBean, UserProfileAccessBean, DemographicsAccessBean, and MemberAttributeValueAccessBean.

Task Description Role Update address book The customer modifies or deletes the addresses in the address book, or adds new addresses.
Registered Customer Update customer profile information The WebSphere Commerce member subsystem supports storing user profile information about customers. This information is extensible if there are requirements to capture additional information. The user profile covers information from the user profile, demographics, and business profile tables. See the UserRegistrationUpdateCmd in the online help for the complete list of attributes supported by default in WebSphere Commerce member subsystem.
Registered Customer Update partner site uid and pwd This task is only available in the demand chain model. The partner site userid and password can be used to define user credentials for multiple distributors.
