Receive inventory that was not expected to be received, there by making it available for purchase.

 

Description

This is process is used for receiving ad-hoc inventory.

An inventory receipt will be created at a fulfillment center.

If the receipt is created successfully, the receipt identifier will be returned and the receipt will be made available to the distribution arrangement. Distribution Arrangement models the relationship between wholesaler and retailer, where the retailer has an arrangement to sell merchandise from the wholesaler.
