Process: Create new gift registry

Objective
To allow a gift registry registrant to create a gift registry.
Description
A customer can set up a gift registry for various life events or celebrations, such as for a wedding or milestone birthday. The gift registry creation process involves various steps from registration to adding items to build a registry list. Refer to the features list for details.
Features
- Register and log onto the store. If the customer is already registered with the store, then the customer can log onto the store and begin to create a gift registry profile. If the customer is not registered with the store, the gift registry creation process registers the customer with the store, as part of the gift registry profile creation.
- Complete gift registry profile form. A customer provides information about the gift registry, such as the event date, event type, a description, contact and pre- and post-event shipping information, and any co-registrant information. Once complete, this creates a gift registry profile for the customer.
- Receive confirmation e-mail that the gift registry has been successfully created. This e-mail may contain store and event information, gift registry ID, a link to the registry or the store's catalog, and suggested products to add to the registry.
- Add items to the gift registry list. A customer can build the gift list by selecting products from the online catalog.

Registrant Create registry Once the customer submits the gift registry form, the gift registry is created.
Registrant Fill in gift registry form The customer provides information about the event, contacts, and shipping information, using an online form.
Registrant Register and log on If the customer is registered with the store, then the customer can log onto the store to create a gift registry profile. If the customer is not registered with the store, the gift registry creation process registers the customer with the store, as part of creating a gift registry profile
Registrant Select item An item is a product that has a SKU. The customer selects an item by clicking on the link to the item information page.
Registrant View registry list The customer can review the list of items in the list; this view can help determine what else is needed
