Troubleshoot: Warning messages displayed when installing WebSphere Commerce

MotifLookandFeel messages logged during WebSphere Commerce installation.

 

Problem

Warning messages are displayed when you start the installation using one of the following commands:

• mount_point/setup.sh

• mount_point/setup_solaris

The warning messages displayed are similar to the following example:

com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel/icons/UpFolder.gif
not found.
com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel/icons/ListView.gif
not found.
com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel/icons/Computer.gif
not found.
com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel/icons/File.gif not
found.
com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel/icons/Directory.gif
not found.
com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel/icons/FloppyDrive.gif
not found.
com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel/icons/NewFolder.gif
not found.
com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel/icons/DetailsView.gif

Solution

These errors can be safely ignored.
