Troubleshoot: The silent installation of the IBM HTTP Server, WAS Web server plug-ins, or WAS fails
Problem
The installation of IBM HTTP Server, WAS Web server plug-ins, or WAS has failed and you are not able to find any of the installation logs. The WebSphere Commerce installer may have failed in starting the appropriate silent installation process.
Solution
Verify the permission settings for the WAS CD image and ensure that you can manually start the IBM HTTP Server, WAS Web server plug-ins, and WAS installation processes.
- If the installation processes do not launch properly, contact WebSphere Commerce support.
- If the installation processes do launch properly, retry the WebSphere Commerce installation.
