Create a single bookmark view

Find a bookmark by specifying the URL and the email address of the bookmark owner.

To find a specific bookmark, we can enter the URL for the bookmark and the email address of the owner in the address bar for Bookmarks to find the bookmark. For example, if a colleague tells you about a web page you might find useful, we can enter the url and the email address of the colleague to find the bookmark. We can then add the bookmark to the collection.

  1. Log in to Bookmarks.

  2. Click in the address bar and specify the email address of the bookmark owner and the URL for the bookmark, using this format:

      email=[email-address]&url=[bookmark-url]

    For example:

      https://w3.ibm.com/connections/dogear/html?email=sdaryn@us.ibm.com&url=http://www.ibm.com

    The example displays the bookmark to www.ibm.com created by Samantha Daryn. We can then add it to the bookmarks or take any other action on it.
