Verify impersonation configuration

The impersonation feature lets you access another user's system as though we are that user so that we can test user access. Impersonation is configured as part of the installation process. Use this procedure to confirm that it is working as expected.

The impersonation feature lets you access another user's system as though we are that user. Follow these steps to confirm the feature is working correctly.

1. Log in as any non-admin user.

2. Create a page, for example, JonesxxPage.

3. Click Actions > Share page.

4. Select Group search from drop-down.

5. Enter a search string and verify the results come from communities the user belongs to rather than from all communities.

6. Perform a similar test for each node.
