The installation process

1. Review software and hardware requirements

2. Install required software...
   • WebSphere Application Server
   • LDAP directory
   • Database server
   • Tivoli Directory Integrator
   • IBM Cognos
   • FileNet

3. Determine SMTP and DNS details of the mail infrastructure.

4. Prepare the LDAP directory, install WebSphere Application Server, and create databases.

5. Install Connections

   We can optionally install Connections Content Manager at the same time as Connections, or install CCM after Connections install by re-running install program.

6. Complete post-installation tasks.
