Install Connections

An IBM Connections deployment consists of the following components:

• WebSphere Application Server nodes:
  • One node with WAS dmgr configured.
  • One or more WAS nodes to be federated into the dmgr cell.

• A system with a database server installed.

• An LDAP server.

• A system with IBM HTTP Server installed.

Install procedure

1. Before installing
2. Install as a non-root user
3. Install Connections 5.0
4. Install in console mode
5. Install silently
6. Modify the installation in interactive mode
7. Modify the installation in silent mode
8. Modify the installation in console mode
