• URL provider page
  Use this page to view existing URL providers, which supply the implementation classes necessary for WebSphere Application Server to access a URL through a specific protocol. The default URL provider provides connectivity through protocols that are supported by the IBM Developer Kit for the Java™ Platform, compatible with the Java 2 Standard Edition Platform 1.3.1. These protocols include HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and File Transfer Protocol (FTP), which work for must URLs.
