Configure service integration bus links
We can configure service integration bus links on messaging engines in a variety of ways. For example, we can start, stop, or remove links.
When creating a foreign bus connection to connect two service integration buses, a service integration bus link is created automatically. The foreign bus connection contains a routing definition, which is a virtual link, and the service integration bus link is the corresponding physical link on the messaging engine.
Subtopics
- Configure foreign bus connections
We can configure a bus to connect to, and exchange messages with, other messaging networks. To do this, configure a foreign bus connection. A foreign bus connection encapsulates information related to the remote messaging network, such as the type of the foreign bus and whether messaging applications are allowed to send messages to the foreign bus.
- Configure the properties of a service integration bus link
After establishing a service integration bus link you might want to configure the properties of a service integration bus link such as the name of the service integration bus link, or authentication alias used by foreign bus that the link connects to.
- Listing the service integration bus links
We can list all the service integration bus links that are linked to a messaging engine.
- Start a service integration bus link
When a service integration bus link has been started, it can be used for communicating with its associated messaging engines.
- Stopping a service integration bus link
When a service integration bus link has been stopped, it cannot be used for communication until it is restarted.
- Remove a service integration bus link
When a service integration bus link to a messaging engine has been removed, it cannot be used for communication until it is recreated.
