UnmanagedNodeCommands (AdminTask)
We can use the Jython or Jacl scripting languages to manage servers with wsadmin.sh. The commands and parameters in the UnmanagedNodeCommands group can be used to create and query for managed and unmanaged nodes. An unmanaged node is a node that does not have a node agent or a deployment manager.
The UnmanagedNodeCommands (AdminTask) includes the following commands:
createUnmanagedNode
Use the createUnmanagedNode command to create a new unmanaged node in the configuration. An unmanaged node is a node that does not have a node agent or a deployment manager. Unmanaged nodes can contain web servers, such as IBM HTTP Server.Target object None
Parameters and return values
- -nodeName
- The name that will represent the node in the configuration repository. (String, required)
- -hostName
- The host name of the system associated with this node. (String, required)
- -nodeOperatingSystem
- The operating system in use on the system associated with this node. Valid entries include the following: os400, aix, hpux, linux, solaris, windows, and os390.(String required)

listManagedNodes
Use the listManagedNodes command to list the managed nodes, nodes that have a node agent defined, in a configuration.Target object None

- Returns: List
