Rate-based autonomic request flow manager (ARFM)
The autonomic request flow manager (ARFM) uses a rate-based algorithm that results in a more consistent loading and protecting of application server resources by ARFM.
ARFM controls the flow of requests for HTTP and SIP traffic through the on demand router (ODR) and for IIOP and MDB traffic from within an application server.
The rate-based ARFM feature is enabled by default. Complete the following steps to disable the feature.
- In the console, select System administration > Cell > Custom properties > New.
- Specify the name of the custom property as enableRateBasedARFM.
- Specify the value of the custom property as false.
- Restart the cell.
