Use the UDDI registry installation verification test (IVT)
We can use an installation verification test (IVT) to verify that we have successfully deployed a UDDI registry.
We must have set up and deployed a new UDDI registry.
Procedure
- Open a browser window and enter the URL that accesses the UDDI registry user interface.
- Under the Quick Find heading on the Find tab, select the Business radio button and enter a percent symbol (%) in the Starting with field.
- Click Find. If you deployed your UDDI registry successfully, the detail frame shows the business entity that represents this UDDI node. We can click on the business entity to see its detail.
What to do next
As a further installation verification test, you can publish and find more UDDI entities by using the UDDI registry user interface. Alternatively, you can compile and run one or more of the UDDI registry samples that are available.
