Server V6.1 default policy set bindings


To specify the server V6.1 default policy set bindings for this server. These default bindings are used for client and provider policy set attachments for applications that are deployed to V 6.1 servers, and for V6.1 applications that are deployed to V 7.0 servers. The default bindings are used for V6.1 attachments unless overridden at the attachment point. following actions:

  1. Click Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers > server_name

  2. Under Security, click Default policy set bindings

  3. Click V6.1 default policy set bindings

This admin console panel applies only to Java™ API for XML Web Services (JAX-WS) applications.

V6.1 default policy set bindings

We can install a WAS V6.1 Feature Pack for Web Services application within the WAS V 7.0 environment. If the application contains V6.1 custom bindings, the application is defined as a V 6.1 application to the application server. Additionally, if the application is installed on a WAS V6.1 Feature Pack for Web Services server within the WAS V7.0 environment, the custom binding is created as a V6.1 custom binding.

Depending on the assigned security role when security is enabled, we might not have access to text entry fields or buttons to create or edit configuration data. Review the administrative roles documentation to learn more about the valid roles for the appserver.

Bindings configuration name

Name of the policy set bindings configuration. This field is read-only for default policy set bindings.

Add Adds a policy to the collection.
Delete Removes a policy from the collection.
