Generic server clusters configuration
Use this topic to configure a generic server cluster. Creating a generic server cluster is the next step, after creating the proxy server, towards generating the ability to route requests to a non-IBM WebSphere Application Server or a pre-V6 WAS cell.
To view this console page, click Servers > Generic Server Clusters > server.
Now that you have configured a generic server cluster, you can create cluster members and define the cluster endpoints. Click Additional properties > Ports.
You can edit generic server cluster configurable field settings on the Configuration tab.
Configuration tab
- Name
User-defined name for the cluster.
- Protocol
The protocol field determines whether or not secure communication is used when connecting to members of the cluster.
The choices are HTTP and HTTPS.
