Install IBM SecureWay Security Server for z/OS and OS/390
If necessary, use the information in this file to install IBM SecureWaySecurity Server for z/OS and OS/390 so that we can set up and configure SecureWay Security Server as the LDAP server for IBM WebSphere Portal.
Install SecureWay Security Server
Windows and UNIX:
WebSphere Portal only includes the Install Shield for MultiPlatform (ISMP) version of the SecureWay Security Server installation program. If you have a previous version of SecureWay Security Server, you might need the UnixNativeInstaller to migrate to the current version. Follow the instructions for installing SecureWay Security Server using the ISMP installation program. For installation instructions, refer to the SecureWay Security Server library at http://www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/zseries/zos/security/securityserver.html.
Verify SecureWay Security Server LDAP
Use the ldapsearch command from the command line on the LDAP server to verify that SecureWay Security Server is installed and working correctly.
ldapsearch -h <hostname> -s base objectclass=*If SecureWay Security Server has not been installed correctly, you will receive the error "Could not connect to LDAP server."
