Configure the browser to work with documents
Use desktop editing applications to work with documents from Document Manager.
The Document Manager browser plug-in must be enabled for us to use desktop applications, such as Microsoft Word, to work on documents from a document library. To successfully enable the browser plug-in, the browser must be configured for ActiveX and scripting.
This section contains information about enabling and disabling the browser plug-in, as well as instructions for configuring a browser to automatically open a file in a specific editing application. Information on upgrading the plug-in is also provided.
