Configure Lotus Sametime people awareness for users of the Mozilla browser
The STLinks applet provides people awareness in all the Domino and Extended Products Portlets. For users of the Mozilla browser, the STLinks applet must be the version installed by default on the IBM Lotus Sametime server. To configure the applet properly for Mozilla, you copy files from the Lotus Sametime server to the portal server.
Perform the following steps:
- On the portal server, create a folder (if one does not exist) named sametime under the following /wps.war directory:
WebSphere Application Server 5:
app_server_root /installedApps/node/wps.ear/wps.war
WebSphere Application Server 6:
was_profile_root /installedApps/profiles/cell/wps.ear/wps.war
- Copy the Lotus Sametime server /stlinks folder to the /sametime folder that you created on the portal server.
The directory should resemble...
WAS V5 - Windows
app_server_root\installedApps\node\wps.ear\wps.war\sametime\stlinksWAS v6 - Windows
was_profile_root\profiles\installedApps\cell\wps.ear\wps.war\sametime\stlinks
WAS V5 - AIX
/usr/WebSphere/AppServer/node/wps.ear/wps.war/sametime/stlinks
WAS V6 - AIX
/usr/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/cell/wps.ear/wps.war/sametime/stlinks
WAS v5 - i5/OS
app_server_root /installedApps/node/wps.ear/wps.war/sametime/stlinks
WAS v6 - i5/OS
Same as for WebSphere Application Server 5
- If the stlinks.jar file in the stlinks directory is not a signed version, replace it with a signed stlinks.jar file.
This file is on the Lotus Sametime server in the folder domino_server_root/data/domino/html/sametime/stlinks/signed.
