Create new catalog portlets
Create a new catalog for composite applications by copying an existing application catalog portlet and modifying its parameters.
Each application catalog is a portlet that lists the composite applications of a specific category. For example, the work site might display a Documents catalog that contains applications categorized as Document Library. Users see the application catalogs that they have permission to work with. Each application listed in a catalog is a link that opens the application in the work site.
As the number of application templates and composite applications in the work sites grows, you and other users might want to create new categories for applications. After you create a new application category, create a new catalog that reflects the name of the new application category. Because applications catalogs are portlets, you create a new catalog by making a copy of an existing application catalog portlet and managing the new catalog just as you would any other portlet.
For more information about creating and managing portlets, see the Help topics that are available for a particular task context.
