1. Type the command CRTDEVAPPC and press Enter.

2. Specify values for Device description (13), Remote location (11), Local location (3), Remote network identifier (9), and Attached controller (12).

We can avoid having to create controller and device descriptions manually by taking advantage of i5/OS’s auto-configuration service. Consult the i5/OS documentation for details.
