Connecting to APPC/MVS (LU 6.2)

 

The connection name (CONNAME) field in the channel definition to connect to your queue-sharing group should be set to the symbolic destination name, as specified in the side information data set for APPC/MVS. The partner LU specified in this symbolic destination should be the generic resource name. See Defining yourself to the network using generic resources for more details.
