Changes for the previous editions (plug-in version 6.0.2.11) and (SC34–6584–01 and SC34-6584-02)
The changes for previous editions of the WebSphere MQ System Administration Guide included:
- New information about how to use WebSphere MQ in Common Criteria mode has been added to Common Criteria.
- Syntax information for the GSKCapiCmd tool has been added to the information beginning with Managing keys and certificates. Use GSKCapiCmd if we need to manage SSL certificates in a way that is FIPS and Common Criteria-compliant.
- A new appendix has been added detailing UNIX WebSphere MQ process priorities.
- Information regarding external synchpoint coordination has been updated.
- Information about the control command setmqprd has been added.
- Information about tracing SSL has been added.
- An example illustrating how to automatically start a service has been added.
- An example illustrating how to use the WebSphere MQ Explorer to connect to a remote queue manager using SSL enabled MQI channels has been added.
- Instructions on how to export a list of remote queue managers have been added.
- Information on how to start the WebSphere MQ Explorer in RCP mode has been added.
- Various technical and editorial corrections and clarifications.
