Upgrading your operating system

 

If you intend to migrate and run WebSphere MQ on an upgraded operating system, for example moving from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003, do the following:

1. Migrate from your existing version of WebSphere MQ to WebSphere MQ V6.0 on your existing Windows platform. If your existing platform is Windows NT, see Migrating from Windows NT.

2. Migrate from your existing Windows operating system to your upgraded operating system.
