Verify a connection

 

Overview

1. Create the authentication data alias.

2. Create the JDBC provider.

3. Create a data source.

4. Save the data source.

5. If you created a new JAAS entry, cycle the server.

6. Test the connection

7. If connection does not work, review SystemOut.log and search IBM support
