Site Performance

Page and Component Design To design a high performance site, the design of every page and component should consider page weight as well as complexity. Personalization can have an impact on the performance of a site, but if used properly will reduce the total number of pages needed to be viewed by users and therefore have a positive impact on performance. This trade-off needs to be carefully considered.
Caching Caching can provide significant performance increases and be implemented very simply in an IWWCM environment. IWWCM technology also provides a caching alternative for sites that aggregate information from multiple sources, and can cache on a per-user or per-site basis.
