WebSphere system HA level 5
For WebSphere system HA level 5, two data centers are used for disaster recovery. As shown in Figure 8-7, one data center is in the primary service site, and the other data center is a backup. Geographically remote mirroring is used to replicate data between two sites in an asynchronous way. Therefore, both sites can be far away. When one site goes down, the backup site can serve requests after an interruption of up to a few hours.
