Defining server preferences

The server tools allow you to define the following preferences:

• Defining the server preference
  Using the Preferences page, you can define attribute used for testing projects by the servers.

• Defining the audio preferences
  Using the Preferences page, you can define the preferences that servers will use for audio purposes.

• Defining the launching preferences
  

  Using the Preferences page, you can define the preferences that the servers use when starting or switching server modes. Switching server modes occurs when you use the

  Run on Server,

  Profile on Server,

  or

  Debug on Server commands.

• Defining the server runtime environments preferences
  Using the Preferences page, you can direct the workbench to use a specific runtime environment of an application server for compiling your application.

• Defining preferences for WAS
  

• Defining the TCP/IP Monitor preferences
