Defining the audio preferences

Using the Preferences page, you can define the preferences that servers will use for audio purposes.

To define these preferences, do the following:

  1. From the Window menu, select

    Preferences.

  2. In the Preferences window, expand

    Server and then select

    Audio.

  3. Specify one or more of the following settings:

    Option Description
    Enable sounds Plays sound when an error occurs on the server, or whenever the server changes state (such as, changing from "Starting" to "Started")
    Volume Adjusts the volume of the sound played on your computer.
    Sounds Lists the sounds events to which you can enable the sound. To enable sound for an event, select the check box beside the event.

  4. Click

    Apply and then OK to save your changes.
