Updating link attributes

The Properties view provides you with an easy way to update existing links.

To update a link to a Web page using the Properties view:

1. From the Web perspective, open a Web page with Page Designer.

2. Open the Properties view if it is not already open by selecting

   Window | Show View | Properties.

3. Click inside the link text. The A section is shown in the Properties view.

   

4. Add or update attributes for the selected link. For example, you can reset the

   Target attribute, which indicates where the link destination page is to be displayed, to New Window, so that the linked resource will open in another window.

5. Switch to the

   Preview tab and click the link to ensure that your updates are accurately reflected.
