Auto-deployment of Web services
You can redeploy Web services automatically after you make changes to them. You can also undeploy them automatically when you delete them from your data development projects.
Restriction: Automatic deployment of Web services is only supported for J2EE Web servers.
You can specify that you want to deploy Web services automatically when you set default deployment options for the Web services in your projects and when you deploy individual Web services.
After you set this option, the following actions cause the workbench to redeploy a Web service:
- Deleting operations, but not the last operation in a Web service
- Editing a Web service
- Editing an operation
- Importing a Web service
- Creating a new operation
- Dragging and dropping a Web service from one project to another in your workspace
- Renaming a Web service
The following actions cause the workbench to undeploy a Web service:
- Deleting a Web service
- Deleting the last operation in a Web service
