fte:uuid Ant task
Generates a pseudo-random unique identifier and assigns it to a given IBM WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition property. For example, we can use this identifier to generate job names for other file transfer operations.
Note: IBM WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition (FTE) is no longer a supported product. To migrate from FTE to the Managed File Transfer component in IBM MQ, see Migrating Managed File Transfer.Attributes
- length
- Required. The numeric length of UUID to generate. This length value does not include the length of any prefix, specified by the prefix parameter.
- property
- Required. The name of the property to assign the generated UUID to.
- prefix
- Optional. A prefix to add to the generated UUID. This prefix is not counted as part of the length of the UUID, as specified by the length parameter.
Example
This example defines a UUID that starts with the letters ABC followed by 16 pseudo-random hex characters. The UUID is assigned to a property named uuid.property.<fte:uuid length="16" property="uuid.property" prefix="ABC"/>Parent topic: fteAnt: run Ant tasks in MFT
