Overview: The delivered logical topology

The company has migrated from IBM MQ Version 9.1 to IBM MQ Version 9.2.

The IT configuration following the migration is unchanged, as shown in Figure 1. The queue manager and sample application are migrated, and the business can benefit from the new functionality in the latest version of IBM MQ.
Figure 1. Delivered IT configuration. The delivered IT configuration includes an initial context, added for IBM MQ Explorer to connect to the root of the JNDI namespace. The JNDI namespace includes a connection factory, added for the sample JMS application to use to connect to IBM MQ, and a destination, added for the sample JMS application to connect to the IBM MQ queue. That IBM MQ queue has also been added into the delivered IT configuration for use by the sample JMS application.
