Starting a channel initiator

We can start a channel initiator using MQSC commands or using the operations and control panels.

To start a channel initiator using the MQSC commands, use START CHINIT.

Use the operations and control panels, starting from the initial panel, complete these fields and press enter:

Object type SYSTEM
Name Blank
The Start a System Function panel is displayed. The text following the following panel explains what action to take:

Select function type, complete fields, then press Enter to start system
function.
